Tibco Software said it's not seeing the same weakness as Oracle. Fourth-quarter earnings were $0.42, beating the $0.35 consensus forecast. Revenue and guidance were also strong, and TIBX is up 6 percent before the bell

American Greetings Lowers Guidance
American Greetings reported third-quarter revenue of $463.6 million, missing the $439.4 million consensus estimate. But that was about the only good news. Earnings missed and management lowered guidance because of an expected increase in costs. AM fell 10 percent in the pre.
Mattress Firm Climbs After First Report
Mattress Firm, which went public last month, swung to profit in the first quarter and reported 40 percent growth on the top line. There aren't any analysts following it yet, but those numbers are lifting the shares before the bell. MFRM rose 9 percent after the bell yesterday but hasn't traded yet this morning.
